UNJUSTIFIED MAKING

Dates announced soon

Reclaim your creative permission in a system that constantly demands justification. These workshops will offer a much needed breath of fresh air.

Designed as a space for connection and care, this series of caring cpd events invite you to step away from the pressures of work and school. Here, you can connect with a community of like-minded visual art educators who share your frustrations, challenges, and ambitions.

We’ve partnered with Rod Kippen (The Horsfall / 42nd Street) to design three workshops that put trust, care, and low-pressure creativity at the center.

Rod explains ‘for me the feeling of flow in creativity is the subconscious at work and I want these sessions to really step into this feeling of creating without ‘thinking’. Exploring this with our young people leads them to find what they need in the creative process – to process, realise, communicate etc and leads to something healing, unique and often offers a space of open connection.

The series of 3 workshops that will run twice - one during school hours and one after the school day finishes and will be held at regular intervals in the autumn term which we hope allows for regular attendance.
